Before and After School Care

Our School Age Programs can help your children develop the confidence needed to learn and grow into successful students. We offer before and after school care, school holiday care, and summer camp programs for school-age children. Our school-age programs focus on fun activities with homework time available at parents’ discretion.

We follow Mount Vernon School District's annual schedule. We cannot provide transportation at this time but the Mount Vernon School District does offer limited transportation to and from our center. Call The Learning Ladder Child Development Center today to schedule a tour and find out more.

With a small class size of only 15 students, your child gets more individual attention, helping them gain the confidence needed to grow and develop into bright successful students. The small class size also allows the children to form personal relationships with the teacher and other students.

From a daily mystery box to a mystery word on the board, the children are challenged to use their imaginations and work together as a class to achieve a common goal! Our colorful and friendly playhouse environment has six learning centers for your child to learn & explore.

School Age Programs

Our After School Program is a classroom designed for children to relax and enjoy activities after a full day of academics. Many different learning centers are available for them to choose from such as games, library, dramatic play, cooking, science, building, and construction and of course art.
